At the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the digital team at CPS heard feedback from our parents, teachers, and community members on social media stating they felt we were talking at them, rather than with them. To address our communities’ health, safety, and at-home learning concerns, we began refocusing many of our digital deliverables to directly answer their questions and amplify their voices where and whenever possible. These primarily took the form of videos and blogs on Facebook (home to our largest audience of parents and guardians) and required us to collaborate with our community members to ensure our final products represented their diverse experiences across the nation's third-largest school district.See More
