In a consultant role I jumped onto many teams, got up to speed quickly, and helped them functionally test and performance test their product. I was also part of a high priority effort to migrate, with sophisticated automation, thousands of tests from one testing platform to another. As part of that effort I helped design, create, and refine dashboards and SQL queries to track progress and identify the most impactful next steps.

Projects included: building real-time actionable metrics to pinpoint issues amongst the thousands of deployments that occur each hour, building and maintaining a 100% end-to-end automation system for developers to apply their changes across the entire environment, and creating a monitoring tool that proactively searches for troubled machines and takes recovery action.

Designed and built an HTTP parser for presenting queries to a GeoServer, and provide resulting imagery data to display clients. Worked on a project to serialize/deserialize Java and C++ objects into a JSON format. I developed and implemented utility scripts to create Git repositories and seamlessly incorporate committed files into a ClearCase revision control system.
