With a background in software engineering, I have gained valuable experience through internships at Teradata and Optum, where I developed tools to streamline engineering processes and transitioned to open-source solutions for testing. TeradataMay 2023 - Dec 2023 • 8 mos• Designed and implemented a Python tool to analyze the team’s Github usage while identifying out-of-spec issues, such as long-lived pull requests, resulting in an at-the-glance solution for engineering consistency and enforcement of team standards • Enhanced and developed version dependency identification for RPM packages with multiple processing modes. I implemented a feature that pinpointed specific versions of the packages across multiple local repositories instead of defaulting to the latest version. • Improved unit-test code coverage by over 30% for PSIM’s C++ production code-base using the GoogleTest Framework • As a part-time intern in Fall 2023, I spearheaded the development of an internal tool that parses through rule files to generate a catalog with desired information from several rule engine source codes, reducing overhead by nearly 100%
