Projects

FireToast Jam Logo, Branding & Packaging

Problem: Fire Toast is located in Sandy Springs Georgia. The Ballo family has a popular you-pick berry farm that has been in existence since the early 90’s. The eldest daughter, Amahle has worked on the family farm her whole life but believes her interest in entrepreneurship will help grow the family farm and keep it making money. With the pandemic the farm had to close for almost a year which was financially very difficult for the family. During that quarantine period Amahle started experimenting with two of her favorite things… berries and hot peppers! She perfected some recipes that she wants to add to the small gift shop that is located at the farm. Hopefully this idea will grow and she hopes to start making more and selling this online as well as in person. Solution: I created logo, branding and packaging designs for FireToast’s 3 most popular flavors. I used youthful, bright illustrations and branding to create a funky, fun brand image.See More

The Military Wallet Ads

Problem: Create a set of Meta ads that are different than the currently running ads that will capture the attention of Veterans interested in buying a home. Solution: I utilized a combination of bright-colored backgrounds, creative copy, and imitation tech interfaces to create fresh, modern ads. I provided a variety of ad designs to appeal to different audience groups.See More

Rugby Infograph

Problem: Create an engaging, visually appealing 24x36” poster that displays statistics centered around women’s rugby. Solution: I created a poster that is not overtly feminine to highlight the brutality of the sport by choosing a gender-neutral color scheme and harsh, dark photo treatments and illustrations. I used icons to highlight important statistics and used a timeline to show chronological events that are important to the history of the sport.See More

Scrimshaw Brand Kit

Problem: Scrimshaw by Kristina Molder is a business that specializes in the ancient art of scrimshaw with a focus on natural subjects such as wildlife and plants. Kristina wanted a branding kit that combines and showcases the old'-fashioned practice, her love of nature and her young perspective on the artform. Solution: I created a full brand kit that combines muted neutrals with natural colors to create a fresh color pallet, utilized interesting typography and worked with the client to create a mission statement that can be used help drive the company. Lebanon Zine

Problem: Create a zine that highlights the businesses, events and small-town charm that Downtown Lebanon has to offer. Solution: I utilized a retro color scheme and fonts as well as risograph-esque photo treatments to highlight the rich history that is celebrated in the town. I also used photos of town events and historical images to show the beauty that can be seen downtown. I highlighted specific businesses and created a shopping “bingo card” to encourage visitors and locals to check out all the town has to offer. *This zine was done as a class project and writings do not reflect the Downtown Lebanon non-profit or any businesses mentioned in the booklet.
