Circula is a European B2B SaaS that offers a spend Management to 16k mid-market companies (225k users). They've raised a $12m series A at $75m valuation. As an Interim CMO, I lead a team of 12 marketers (demand gen, growth PMM, and field) currently focused on Germany, Spain, and the Netherlands. In less than 12 months, I've revamped all marketing acquisition strategies, changed the company's positioning (adjusting messaging and sales narrative), rebuilt the marketing stack, and introduced a new marketing scorecard. Results: - ARR has grown 2.3x (from €3.5 M to €8.1 M) - Pipeline creation has increased 250% - Cost per lead has been reduced by 38% - Recognized as both a High Performer and Momentum Leader for 2024 by G2See More

PleoMay 2021 - Sep 2022 • 1 yr 5 mosI designed and developed the strategy for Pleo to become the fastest-growing spend management startup for large SMBs and Mid-Market companies in Europe. Responsibilities: - Built from scratch an ultra-performing marketing team (Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, Demand Gen, Customer Marketing) – Team of 24 with 8 direct reports +1 dotted line into BDR Lead. - Created and implemented the regional marketing plan in alignment with Pleo's North Star, striking a balance between longer-term strategic brand-building activities, mid-term lead generation, and nurturing to build a pipeline, as well as quick wins to achieve targets. - Defined and structured our digital strategy and EMEA blueprint for driving acquisition at scale in the mid-market. In 16 months we 3x our pipeline and signups while bringing down our CAC 2x. - Worked hand in hand with the product marketing and sales teams to define our ICPs, which lead to building relevant GTMs and creating the right prospect and customer journeys. In this 9 months contract as a Chief Marketing Officer, I rebranded the company from Gigamesh to Assurly, took the marketing strategy from 0 to 1 (from communications to inbound marketing), and launched this brand new mortgage insurtech into the French market. Achievements: - Planned and executed the marketing strategy based on customer segmentation, alternative targeting strategy and LTV - Defined and asserted a compelling value proposition for Assurly in the French consumer market - Hired a full stacked Marketing team responsible for rolling out the digital marketing and acquisition strategy
