I have a history of working in the design industry ranging across UX, product design, graphic design, branding, and architecture. I've worked with clients ranging from e-commerce to non-profits. My most recent work includes working with startups Rec and Jammify.
In a previous life I was an architect, where I worked on graphic design, data visualization, and spatial design, which laid the groundwork for my transition to UX design.
I use both my and 2D and 3D design principles to mold my design approach - where I lead end-to-end design processes - integrating research, prototyping, and technical design tools to develop impactful designs.
Projects
Rec [admin SaaS platform]
Rec is start up that partners with local Parks & Rec departments and community institutions to enable people to play more. They simplify the process of accessing sports facilities, fostering the discovery of new hobbies, and promoting community connections through various recreational activities. In my recent role as a product designer at Rec, I led a design initiative to upgrade the user experience for an administrative SaaS platform. The company needed a robust tool for Parks & Rec departments to schedule reservations independently, filling a gap in their admin-facing tools. I swiftly created high-fidelity prototypes for web and mobile platforms, meeting tight deadlines. By keeping the end-users' needs at the forefront, I developed critical user flows that accounted for various admin use cases, enabling efficient task completion with necessary flexibility. Collaborating closely with stakeholders and engineers, we executed the platform within a 4-week timeframe. I established a design system using Untitled UI and created detailed notes to ensure a smooth handoff and cohesive integration. Previously, Parks & Rec employees had to email Rec for schedule updates. Our new platform streamlined their workflow, allowing independent reservation management, thereby improving efficiency and user satisfaction.
