Project Overview: PennyWise Finance Management App Motivation: The motivation behind creating the PennyWise finance management app was to provide users with an intuitive tool to manage their finances effectively. The primary goal was to help users save money, track their expenses and income, and develop better financial habits. Recognizing the challenges many people face with budgeting and financial planning, we aimed to create an app that simplifies these processes and offers personalized tips for financial improvement. Project Start: 1. Initial Research: - Conducted market research to understand existing finance management apps and identify gaps in the market. - Interviewed potential users to gather insights into their financial management needs and pain points. - Analyzed user feedback to prioritize features that would be most beneficial. 2. Concept Development: - Defined the core features of the app, including expense tracking, income logging, budget creation, and personalized tips. - Created user personas to represent different target audience segments. - Developed user journey maps to visualize how users would interact with the app and achieve their financial goals. 3. Prototyping and Design: - Designed wireframes and prototypes of the app’s interface, focusing on ease of use and intuitive navigation. - Conducted prototype testing to gather feedback on the design and functionality, particularly the ease of finding and using buttons. - Iteratively refined the design based on user feedback, ensuring a user-centric approach.
