Projects

Client Services Desk

Lead project manager for an all-encompassing central Client Services Desk. From inception to completion, I worked with stakeholders, design teams, contractors, and electricians to create a central hub that campus users could utilize for technical and library assistance (similar to Apple’s Genius Bar). In addition, I hired, trained and managed desk staff and the services offered. The new Client Services Desk reduced the number of staff needed for support and increased the support services offered to the campus community.See More

Innovation Lab

During the creation of the Client Services Desk I also created an Innovation Lab for Albion College. This lab provided additional Instructional Technology services and houses multiple 3D printers, a Cricket cutting machine, CAD printer, additional training space, laptop cart, and a virtual reality station. The Innovation Lab provided opportunities for professors to expand their teaching pedagogy and students a creative space to do assignments and projects. It also provided a significant cost reduction in printing services across campus.See More

Google Course Share Pilot

Served as the Albion College project manager for a Google course share pilot. I created a smart classroom using Google video conferencing and digital whiteboard technology and state of the art Steelcase furniture. This smart classroom allowed Albion College to participate with other Michigan campuses in different geographic locations and cross-register students in “real time” classroom settings, resulting in newly expanded course offerings and cost efficiencies.See More

Conference Rooms/Maker Space/Computer Labs

Led multiple projects from start to finish to design or redesign spaces for various purposes. For example, to create a multi-purpose computer lab/maker space I installed new all-in-one computers, a Smart TV, 3D printers, digital video editing stations, new modern seating, re-upholstered desk and lounge chairs (for cost savings), refreshed wall paint, and added artwork. The updated space allowed for more training options, new services, and additional revenue opportunities. See More

MCAT Testing Center

During the computer lab overhaul mentioned above, I simultaneously worked with Prometric, a testing delivery and development center, to prepare our computer lab space for delivery of the Medical College Admission Test (MCAT). By hosting the MCAT on Albion College’s campus the college was able to gain free marketing and promotion, as well as additional program revenue. See More
