TA-Shopping: Cal Hacks 11.0 Winner

TAS-Shopping is a mobile application and Reflex web application developed using Swift that was created at Cal Hacks 11.0 and won first-place in the Reflex category. The applications make use of our custom built API that utilizes Dijkstra's algorithm to assist visually impaired users in grocery shopping by mapping the shortest route to obtain all items. The app's uniqueness lies in its integration of Google Gemini for natural language processing, enabling ease of identifying product descriptions. Firebase is used for real-time data synchronization, ensuring a seamless shopping experience. This project was also formally recognized by Nikhil Rao, the CEO of Reflex and University of the Pacific.See More

The MACHINE Laboratory serves as a research organization designed to produce published works with the aid of talented undergraduate and graduate students at University of the Pacific, Georgia Institute of Technology, and UC Davis.
