Retail Product Manager

KwiksellMay 2022 - Nov 2022 • 7 mosChampioned the development of an enterprise retail SaaS product distributed on the web, iOS, Android and POS machines to enable entrepreneurs manage every aspect of their business. Scaled the product to include payment integrations that allows business owners collect all payment types. Collaborated with the engineering and quality assurance (QA) lead to plan sprint cycles and expected feature releases. Ran several test scenarios and root cause analysis on the reporting system that initiated a key discovery of errors in logic and interpretation of figures. Resolving this drove an uptick in the use of the feature by 25%. Oversaw user research across multiple customer demographics from planning to the implementation phase. This led to the discovery of key customer pain points. Developed Kwiksell Admin from ideation to launch- a seamless Admin system that helps the internal team track performance and usage of the overall product. Worked with the Engineering Manager to fix settlement issues to merchants. Reduced frequency of occurrence by 90%. Carried out strategic planning and transformed the product vision into a strategic roadmap. Created a framework to increase the frequency of deployments from quarterly to bi-weekly and eventually to weekly deployments alongside briefing the marketing team on product updates communication to users. Facilitated product documentation exercise which increased documentation coverage by 50% Reworked onboarding flow to reduce the number of clicks a user must go through to sign and set up their store, this led to a decrease of 34% in drop-off rate.
