Market research saved client >$100,000

Saved company from expending months of intense marketing effort as well as spending more than $100K on rebrand effort. Situation: The client wanted to rebrand because of some negative PR. Given the agency cost, plus the comms / PR / ads cost involved, the project would have cost over $100K, plus taken several months. Solution: Rather than immediately engaging in a rebrand, I suggested we do market research first to understand ICP's perception of the current brand. The data should definitively that that a rebrand was unnecessary. Result: Saved the company from expending months of effort and more than $100K. See More

Helped company stand out from the competition with customer-centric value proposition that is quantified and differentiated, helping to increase win rates by 12%. Situation: Company was not able to stand out or command a price premium, having to consistently discount in order to win opportunities. Problem: Company had generic and undifferentiated messaging, with positioning that was near-identical to competitors. Customers ended up choosing the lowest cost vendor because they did not perceive any incremental or unique value from the company. Solution: Conducted a repositioning exercise, introduced new messaging to clearly articulate the unique value of the company and quantified the ROI it brought to clients.
