Elissa Woods is an award-winning Graphic Designer on a mission to empower small businesses driven by a desire to do good. She helps others scale for success by building bespoke brands through strategic branding and thoughtful graphic design. She graduated top of her class having completed her master’s program in one year instead of three and has won multiple awards for her branding and graphic design expertise, as well as an award for copywriting. Elissa holds a master’s degree in Media Design from Full Sail University and a bachelor’s in Digital Filmmaking from the University of Montana. When she is not designing she can be found trying new foods, saying all of the puns, and making new friends along the way.

FYR Diagnostics Rebrand, Website, and Brand Collateral Suite

FYR Dx is the catalyst to innovate diagnostics and transform healthcare. They transform healthcare by developing diagnostic solutions that utilize novel insights on disease to innovate the next generation of liquid biopsies. They bridge the gaps between healthcare, patients, and disease. FYR approached me with a need for a brand identity, messaging, brand collateral, and website that reflects their evolution since its inception. I worked with them to create a scintillating brand to differentiate them from their competitors, ignite enhanced interest from investors, spark engagement from customers, and enkindle buy-in.See More

Orinoco Coffee Branding

Orinoco Coffee is a fictional specialty coffee roaster named after the Orinoco River in South America. The Orinoco is believed to be the source of where Colombian coffee first originated. They offer a range of responsibly sourced, fair-trade, roasted Colombian coffee beans and coffee paraphernalia. I challenged myself to create a brand as bold as their coffee. This fictional client sells and distributes worldwide, and they compete with some of the biggest global coffee brands out there. To accommodate the amount of brand collateral that Orinoco would need to produce at this scale, I created a standout brand that's simple and recognizable for their customers worldwide -- and easy to roll out across all packaging, marketing collateral, and more. Do Your Bit Branding

Together we can end homelessness, bit by bit. This fictional non-profit, 'Do Your Bit' believes that together we can all do our part bit by bit to help raise awareness of and advocate for those affected by homelessness. Through activism, education, and volunteering efforts they do all they can. Every little bit of everything they do directly supports and encourages all who are or are at risk of being in a housing crisis. Since the target demographic for this fictional brand is millennials, the branding needed to feel friendly, modern, and clean. The logo icon is inspired by the Pinching Hand emoji 🤏 that's used to suggest that something is small or to indicate a small amount (or a little bit).See More

FYR DiagnosticsFYR approached me with a need for a brand identity system, a full suite of brand collateral, and an enhanced website that better reflects its evolution since its inception. I worked with them to create a scintillating brand to differentiate them from their competitors, ignite enhanced interest from investors, spark engagement from customers, and enkindle buy-in. Ahead of their Series A raise, FYR's seed-stage investor was blown away by the first run of FYR's new pitch deck designed by moi. They have since asked for permission from FYR to use FYR's new non-con deck as, "A shining example to our other portfolio companies of what good deck looks like." FYR's collaborator, Element Biosciences is also excited by the new brand, website, and more to come. Element's own, Senior Director of Strategic Marketing referred to the new website by simply saying, "It all looks beautiful!" In short? Before FYR even began pitching for their raise they garnered the right reactions from the right audiences.
