Before entering the world of design, I worked as a biomedical research scientist. I was drawn to the world of science because I enjoy the pursuit of knowledge and the challenge of solving critical problems in the world of healthcare. However, I could not ignore my passion for design and desire for a more creative and fast-paced career. I began studying UX/UI Design and fell in love with this space where I could apply my analytical research skills while still getting to be a creative storyteller. Since starting my new career as a designer, I have had the privilege of collaborating with several talented teams, while helping businesses build their brand presence through quality user experience design.

Website/Brand Design: Goldman Digital

Goldman Digital is a digital sales agency run by Lila Goldman. My goal for this project was to design a brand and landing page that would display Lila's trust and professionalism and provide a place where her clients could find and connect with her. Live site: https://www.goldmandigital.co.uk/ The Problem: Goldman Digital needed an online location where clients could quickly book a call with them. This place needed to highlight Goldman Digital's experience, professionalism, and services. My Solution: --> Design a responsive landing page which used a dark, bold, and simple aesthetic to clearly communicate Goldman Digital's modern professionalism. --> Make all action buttons have the same function. All buttons are labeled the same ("Book a Call") and all of them take the user to Goldman Digital's Calendly link.--See More

App Design: The Wim Hof Method

Helping The Wim Hof Method improve their app experience. The Wim Hof Method is an app that helps users improve their connection to their body through meditation and cold water therapy. Our goal was to improve the existing app's user flow to make it easier for new users to complete the Cold Shower Challenge. Web Design: Sunny Sky Animal Shelter

Helping the Sunny Sky Animal Shelter improve the information architecture of their website. Sunny Sky Animal Shelter is a local rescue shelter in Tacoma, Washington. My goal was to improve their information architecture so that users could find the information they needed to complete the adoption process. The Problem: --> The navigation bar's structure and labels make it challenging for users to know where they need to go. --> The information structure and layout are disorganized and lack hierarchy, preventing user scanability and understanding of essential information. Created user personas and customer journey maps to inform the design process and ensure a user-centered approach. Developed wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize and test different design concepts and user flows while incorporating branding elements and visual identity guidelines to maintain consistency across all digital assets. Implemented responsive web design, clear navigation, and accessibility principles to ensure a seamless user experience across various devices and screen sizes.
