StartupWind Mobile App

[Real-world project for Grad School Capstone] StartupWind is a B2B and B2C web platform for entrepreneurs to learn skills, build businesses, find mentors, and more. In an era where smartphone usage is so pervasive, I decided to create a larger, positive impact on my target audience by introducing a new StartupWind concept mobile app that extends valuable features to a wider audience, helping them have a better chance at achieving their entrepreneurial dreams. Xircle (Android & iOS)

Beyond casual friendships and hangouts, Xircle strives to make it easier to find study buddies within classes, especially your typical 100+ student lecture. At Xircle, I led the design effort to help deliver a refreshed UI that accelerated user excitement. I also contributed to the discussion, ideation, design, implementation, and testing phases of product development and new mobile app releases. During the re-launch of the Xircle Beta Program, I was responsible for designing the high-fidelity wireframes, interactive prototypes, website, and panoramic images for the app store.See More

Sportal

Sportal, a refreshed version of San Jose State University's Sammy app, is a conceptual solution that bridges the gap between Education and Technology for remote students and professors. During a Summer Externship for SJSU's Management Information Systems Association, my team and I analyzed the university’s technology strategy to develop a concept solution that could help bridge the gap between Education and Technology, caused by the Covid pandemic. To address the issue, we crafted a product called “Sportal”, a refreshed version of the existing SJSU Sammy app. As Product Designer, I led the design effort through user research, sketches, wireframes, prototypes, and iteration. The feedback we gathered was overwhelmingly positive, with 92% of survey respondents saying that new features we were introducing would improve their overall academic experience. Ultimately we presented our key insights to SJSU Faculty, Staff, and Corporate Executives to earn the 1st place prize.See More
