About Adam Alpert

Adam Alpert is the co-founder and CEO of Pangea.app (YC W21), a software platform that matches companies with vetted independent talent for contract-to-hire engagements. He’s led product and engineering efforts across the full stack of a two-sided marketplace—building onboarding and matching workflows, automations, and data pipelines that connect CRM, contracting, scheduling, and performance signals into a unified hiring system. His work sits at the intersection of marketplace design, applied AI, and operations: instrumenting funnels, improving conversion with experimentation, and using structured data (skills, work history, reviews, contracts, invoices) to make hiring decisions faster and more reliable.

Outside of Pangea, Adam serves as Managing Director of the NYC and Cambridge Founders Clubs, where he helps technical and venture-backed founders build community through high-signal programming. He’s currently an MBA candidate at MIT Sloan and is active in the MIT startup ecosystem. Adam studied at Brown and enjoys translating technical constraints into product strategy—and product strategy into systems teams can actually ship.
